Learn how to properly set up your new Factor bike and perform initial maintenance for optimal performance.

Properly setting up your new Factor bike ensures optimal performance and longevity. Follow these steps for initial setup and maintenance:

  1. Unbox Your Bike: Carefully remove all packaging materials.
  2. Install Loose Components: Attach handlebars, pedals, and seatpost if not pre-installed.
  3. Adjust Bike Fit: Set saddle height, setback, and handlebar position to match your body measurements.
  4. Perform Safety Check: Verify tire pressure, brake function, wheel security, and bolt tightness.
  5. First Ride: Take a short, easy ride to ensure everything feels right.
  6. Initial Maintenance: After 100-200 km, check and tighten all bolts, inspect the drivetrain, and check brake alignment.
